Building is a big part of Minecraft. Feel free to explore mine shafts, or look for shipwrecks, or just try to get to the end to kill a dragon, but building it will always be part of your job. Lots of people play Minecraft solely to build things, and Minecraft offers different types of blocks to build with.
Dyes in Minecraft
All blocks in Minecraft have a specific purpose, properties, color, and texture. Most blocks cannot have their color changed unless you apply a resource pack or texture. That is, there are a small number of blocks that can be colored. Common blocks that can be colored are concrete, wool and terracotta, collars that domesticated animals wear, leather armor, etc.
To kill them you will have to color other items extracted from the game. Once the paint is done it needs to be applied to the block that you want to color.
Green dye in Minecraft
To create green color you will need;
- Fuel (coal, wood, algae)
Cacti or cacti occur naturally in dessert biomes. These plants can injure a player as well as other mobs, but are easy to mine. You can break them by hand without being damaged. A single block of cactus can be placed on top of a block of sand and it will grow into a full size cactus, meaning you can grow as much of the plant as you need.
Make green dye in Minecraft
Assuming you have a lot of cactus blocks and a lot of fuel, then you are ready to make green paint.
Open an oven.
Fill the fuel cell with fuel.
Place the cactus on the casting block.
When the process is complete, collect the green dye.
Apply green paint to the item
The coloring process for different items is different, but usually you will need to place one of the items on your work table with a color block. Some items, such as terracotta, require you to dye eight blocks at a time, while others, such as wool, only allow you to dye one block at a time. The same dye can be used on different items, but the recipe for making it is different. For collars, all you have to do is hold the ink and apply the Place Item / Use Item action to the domesticated animal.
The dying process is usually permanent. You can’t remove the color from items like wool or terracotta, but you can always change the color of your cat or dog’s collar. If you are coloring blocks for use in a large building make sure you know what the color looks like in combination with everything else before coloring them and you will not be able to undo the coloring process.
